Hey, I'm Ben.
I'm a Los Angeles–based video editor with experience cutting commercial, branded, corporate, documentary, and narrative content.
I enjoy taking a project from raw footage to a polished final piece, finding the strongest story, shaping pacing and performance, and making sure every creative choice supports the purpose of the video. My editing experience includes working with footage from a wide range of productions, cameras, and workflows, from fast-moving branded content to larger commercial and narrative projects.
My background in cinematography and production also gives me a strong understanding of how footage is created, which helps me make better decisions in the edit. I understand coverage, lighting, camera movement, continuity, sound, and the realities of production, and I bring that perspective into every project I cut.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications with a concentration in Video Production from Ball State University before moving to Los Angeles to continue building my career in film and video production.
I'm comfortable collaborating with producers, directors, creatives, and clients, incorporating feedback, managing revisions, and keeping projects organized through delivery. Whether I'm building a story from interviews, cutting a commercial, or refining a piece frame by frame, my goal is always to create an edit that feels intentional, engaging, and polished.
